The purpose of this role is to support the client’s individual client propositions, in the delivery of administrative support to the Paraplanning team across a range of financial products and services. The Paraplanner Technician will actively work as a fact-find checker, vetting FactFinds submitted to the Paraplanning team against Compliance guidelines and is expected to challenge the advisers if the client’s financial needs are not clearly documented and accurate.

They will support Paraplanners in day to day cases, in obtaining documentation/making calls to providers, running valuations.

The role is suitable for an experienced administrator looking for the next step into Paraplanning, to support the Paraplanners and the Paraplanner Manager. The role will require strong administration, planning & organisation skills, along with excellent communication skills to provide a high level of service to the Paraplanners to allow them to deliver a true client centric experience to the advisers, whilst also acting as a risk control against the risk of potential poor advice being given.

IFA Administrator – New Business Servicing Team

Do you have experience working within a pensions or investments company?

Working as part of the centralised administration & client servicing unit (currently a team of 18), the Business Support New Business Administrator will meet consultant and client needs by the provision of a wide range of administrative and customer service duties.

These will include:

• Processing of all new business – investments (ISA’s, Bonds, Investment Accounts), pensions, protection for individual clients and business.

• Book annual review meetings

• Raise new business invoices

• Managing pipeline – seeing the case through to completion

• New Business queries – from Advisers, clients & provider.
