Our client

Our client, based in London close to Cannon Street station, is a forward-thinking holistic      financial planning company offering whole of market advice for pensions, investments, mortgages, protection and estate planning. It is a varied and dynamic team of around 50 employees currently, with an enthusiastic and supportive team atmosphere.

The role

The admin function of the practice is split into two parts – consisting of 4 seasoned IFA administrators, who work closely with the paraplanners, as well as junior administrators. The junior administrators work with the senior admin team and are typically graduates or equivalent – individuals who are just starting their journey within financial planning and have joined the company to learn and develop their administrative skills, before moving through to the paraplanning department.

This first role is an essential one in their overall financial planning journey, and the company are now looking for an experienced senior administrator/IFA manager to harness the role of working alongside the senior administrators in the admin department, and also managing and mentoring the Graduates or equivalent joining the company. The role will be varied but hugely rewarding and would suit anyone who thrives in a busy environment, and would gain great satisfaction from developing and mentoring the graduates on their first role within financial planning. The role will involve all aspects of people management as well as managing workflow and developing processes.

The practice boasts some great benefits such as a generous annual bonus scheme of up to 12% for all individuals, 23 days holiday, with the option to buy and sell more as well as the option for working from home twice per week. Experience / Qualifications

  • Be computer literate, competent with Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Be an experienced financial services administrator.

  • Excellent time management, organisational, and record-keeping skills.
  • Ability to liaise in a professional and concise manner.
  • Have experience working within an independent wealth management or financial planning firm.

  • Comprehensive industry experience/knowledge – pensions, investment
